

HSDLAS offers a rigorous curriculum with an emphasis in STEM education and a variety of Advanced Placement courses designed to challenge our students. Asia-related topics are woven into the academic curriculum in all subject areas. All students are required to comprehend, speak, read and write in English (for Chinese proficient English Learners) and Chinese (for English Proficient students) by the time they graduate.

1) Regents Diploma: 44 credits plus 5 Regents exams (English, GLobal History, US History Integrated Algebra, Living Environment)
2) Advanced Regents Diploma: 44 credits plus 9 Regents exams (English, Global History, US History, Integrated Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, Life Science, Physical Science, Foreign Language)
3) Advanced Regents Diploma with Honors: 44 credits plus an average of 90% in the above 9 Regents exams.
